The nose shows sweet spices, reminiscent of cocoa, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg. Overlaid are rich aromas of crushed raspberries, blackberries and boysenberries. A savoury complexity comes from aromas of leather and tobacco. The palate is bright, fresh, juicy and vibrant with a fine grained tannin giving drive long into the finish.

The Outpost is sourced from the Wetherall vineyards located in the heart of the Coonawarra wine region. This wine is intensely bright, floral and fragrant on the nose with lovely length on the palate. A perfectly balanced Cabernet, very worthy of its reputation.
