The wine is bright in colour. The nose has vibrant aromas of dark plum with sweet spice with savoury notes. The palate is medium bodied with rich and intense fruit. The wine finishes with soft, fine tannins and lingering spicy fruit.

The nose shows sweet spices, reminiscent of cocoa, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg. Overlaid are rich aromas of crushed raspberries, blackberries and boysenberries. The Outpost is sourced from the Wetherall vineyards located in the heart of the Coonawarra wine region. This wine is intensely bright, floral and fragrant on the nose with lovely length on the palate. A perfectly balanced Cabernet, very worthy of its reputation.

The grapes for Roaring Meg come from Mt Difficulty's Cromwell basin vineyards managed by their dedicated viticultural team. The addition of fruit from their Bendigo vineyard has lends a powerful, darker edge. Roaring Meg Pinot Noir features red, blue and black berry fruit aromatics. The palate is harmonious with rich dark berries and a savoury line underneath. A hint of spice and dried thyme complement the succulent fruit. Fine silky tannins frame the wine with a great flow and finish.
