This release embraces the re-use of natural materials in its packaging, discarded meadow cuttings have been given new life in this presentation box and bottle labels. The Macallan Whisky Mastery Team have taken inspiration from natural Scottish grasslands to create this distinctive expression, redolent of warm meadows and mature barley fields, with a rich, citrus scented finish, using a combination of both sherry seasoned oak and bourbon casks. On the nose you'll find rich orange and lemon, honeysuckle, vanilla, coconut and ripe barley fields. The taste is characterised by rich oak, lemon, melon, classic scone, almond and green tea.

The Macallan, together with experts specializing in the coffee ecosystem have united to share knowledge, creativity and passion to bring this exciting concept to life. In the quest to discover sustainable packaging, discarded coffee husks have been given a second lease of life to create this innovative presentation box which encases a unique whisky. Whisky maker Steven Bremner has taken inspiration from the Arabica coffee and developed a whisky aged in both European and American oak casks which delivers notes reminiscent of a divinely sweet yet strong espresso. This limited annual release series brings together innovative sustainable packaging techniques with natural materials at the end of their life to see them given new use and purpose. With a distinct coffee flavour, this whisky exudes notes of espresso, dark chocolate and sweet oak. The only remaining Single Malt distillery on the Black Isle, this whisky's magic lies in its decadently layered flavours. Masterly slow crafting has long been the key; letting each stage of making from malt to maturation take its time, so that the liquid is balanced, smooth and enticing.
